Mrs. Lynette Kisaka is an accomplished professional with over 12 years and 8 months of dedicated service at the Commission for University Education, currently serving as the Deputy Director, Quality Assurance. A doctoral student of Education Management at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, Mrs. Kisaka holds a Bachelor of Education (Science) in Botany and Zoology from Kenya University; and M.Phil (Zoology) in Parasitology; and Executive Master of Education in Leadership and Policy; both from Moi University. Mrs. Kisaka has demonstrated exemplary leadership and expertise in the field of Higher Education Quality Assurance and has been instrumental in coordinating Quality Audits, monitoring internal quality assurance mechanisms in universities, facilitating training, seminars, workshops, and conferences on Quality Assurance, formulating regulations, standards, and guidelines for Quality Audit in University Education, and contributing significantly to the enhancement of education quality as a DAAD-trained Regional Coordinator for Quality Assurance in Higher Education in the East Africa Region.

Mrs. Kisaka is a trained Earth Charter Educator on Sustainable Development; trained in Digital Education for Universities and a member of the Community of Practice for digital education; a member of the East Africa Quality Assurance Network (EAQAN), and the Kenya Universities Quality Assurance Network (KuQAN). From April 2009 to May 2010 Mrs. Kisaka was the coordinator of the Working Group on Mathematics and Science Education for the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA), the forum for policy dialogue on education in Africa where she sharpened her strategic thinking and administrative skills through networking, partnerships, advocacy, and collaboration on education matters.

With a career in education that spans over two decades, Mrs. Lynette Kisaka has served as a member of the expert committee on Education Programme at KNATCOM for UNESCO and part of the technical team that developed the guidelines for mainstreaming Education for Sustainable Development, and Global Citizenship Education in Universities; Technical Working Group for Developing a Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the Continental Education Strategy for Africa (CESA 16-25) and SDG 4 for the Ministry of Education; and the ad hoc Committee on the Kenya Credit Accumulation and Transfer System (KCATS). Her dedication and expertise make her an invaluable asset to the Commission for University Education and the broader education community.
